New Red Rock Kennel Champion

Hatter has been quite the dog, starting off his show career winning The Best Stud Dog at the 2009 Parson Russell Terrier Association of America (PRTAA) National Speciality. Today many of his offspring are already doing well in the show ring. Hatter is one of my stud dogs standing at Red Rock Kennel.

Letter From Patti & Sophie
Dear Karen,
I don't know if you remember me since I'm writing from a different email address. I'm so glad I found your web site so I could contact you and keep abreast of what's going on in your kennel.
I'm the one who took Red Rock Sophisticated Lady, (Sophie). I can't tell you how very happy I am to have her. We love her dearly and she's become a very important part in our lives. Guess you can say, she's really attached to her Mommy. She follows me everywhere and hardly ever leaves my side.
If you'll recall, we had two very old Beagles whom we loved dearly. Unfortunately, we lost them in September and October of this year which was extremely hard on my husband and me.
Sophie (AKA Scruffers) has helped to ease the pain of losing our beloved KC and Corky. Thank you again for the opportunity of having one of your Parsons Russell Terriers as a true member of our family. She's not only worked her way into our hearts but smack dab into the middle of our bed.
Words can't express my gratitude - Thanks again, Karen.
Best regards,
Patti Kelley and Sophie

Trump Earns Second Leg Of Senior Earthdog
BISS Ch. Red Rock High Roller, JE ROM
"Trump" with his handler Karen Raduziner, won his second leg of his
senior (SE) earthdog at the Border Terrier Club of Southern California
trial. The Senior Earthdog test is open only to dogs with a JE title.
The Senior Earthdog den layout more closely resembles an actual den in
the wild. There is a false exit (not scented) and a false den
(containing used bedding but no quarry). The release point is 20 feet
from the den entrance, which is steeper and less visible than the JE
test. The dog must reach the quarry within 90 seconds after release and
work the quarry for 90 seconds. The judge then removes the quarry and
instructs the handler to recall the dog, which must make it back to the
control of the handler within 90 seconds. Trump must pass this test two
more times under at least one other different judge to earn his senior
earth dog title.

Forrest Finishes His MACH Title
Congratulations to Anne Ibach and her Parson Russell Terrier, MACH
Red Rock Run Forrest Run, JE, MX, MXJ, MXF, RN for finishing his MACH
title. Forrest earned his MACH at the Idaho Capitol City Kennel Club
All Breed Agility trial in Boise, Idaho. And he did it with two first
places. He went on quite a streak this year. He just earned DQ #11 in
June. This has always been a tough barn for Forrest, since he saw a
squirrel there several years ago and has never forgotten it. Anne knew
going into the weekend that she would have her work cut out for her,
and they both worked really hard! Not only did Forrest get his 20th
Double Q, but he got his 19th on the day before on Saturday. And he
qualified in five of six runs over the weekend.
